How Does a Mineral Water Filling Machine Work?

The working principle follows a linear or rotary path, depending on the machine design. For high speed production, rotary systems are the gold standard.

  • First, empty bottles enter the machine via an air conveyor system. The air conveyor uses high pressure fans to slide the bottles along a rail, which prevents surface scratches. Once inside, the bottles are picked up by the rinsing grippers. After being thoroughly washed, they move to the filling zone.
  • At the filling station, the bottle creates a seal with the filling valve. The valve opens, and gravity allows the mineral water to flow into the bottle. The displaced air is exhausted through a vent tube. Once the liquid reaches the desired level, the valve closes.
  • Finally, the filled bottle moves to the capping station. A cap is picked up from the chute and placed onto the bottle. The capping head spins the cap down with a specific amount of force. The finished product then exits the machine onto a flat conveyor, ready for labeling and packaging.

How to Choose the Right Mineral Water Filling Machine?

Selecting the right machine requires careful consideration of several factors.

  1. Production Capacity: Determine how many bottles you need to produce per hour. Choose a machine with a capacity that matches your current needs but leaves room for future growth.
  2. Bottle Type and Size: Make sure the machine is compatible with the bottles you plan to use. If you want flexibility, opt for a model with quick-changeover parts.
  3. Budget: Prices range from basic semi-automatic units to fully automatic high-speed lines. Set a realistic budget and prioritize features that matter most for your operation.
